New development of an office building in timber construction

The two-storey office building has a basement and serves the administration and sales base for a large sawmill and timber trading company.

The waterproof basement is designed in reinforced concrete while the inner walls are constructed in brickwork.  The roof, the ground floor ceiling, the exterior and the interior walls and the flights of stairs are cross laminated timber. To create a generous spatial impression on the ground floor, the inner load-bearing walls of the upper floor are broken up into steel columns and girders.
